Coffee in Baja

Posted by

The Bean got out of dodge for a few days-with teenagers in tow, and headed down to the tip of Baja California in Mexico. Anyone ever spent any time in the San Jose Del Cabo Art District? What a great spot to hang out. We found a cool little corner cafe with a huge mural of Frida Kahlo on the side, and a fantastic place to post up with a cup of coffee and watch the world go by.

We then drove around the tip of Baja, purposely avoiding the Vegas-in-Mexico vibe of Cabo (great for bachelor parties, 30th/40th/50th birthdays...not so great with teenagers) to land in Todos Santos. Another amazing spot. Stayed at the Todos Santos Inn, an amazing hacienda-style inn.

Each morning sat in the warm courtyard sipping coffee and taking in the peaceful, Baja scenery. During the day we explored the local beaches, and then strolled the town, ending up each evening in La Copa Bar at our Todos Santos Inn. Think dark wood, big leather chairs, Cuban music playing, and some of the best Margaritas you will find.

Then start the next day all again-with a delicious cup of coffee. Life is good.
